We are a small, dedicated and professional company. We take time to do things and we are demanding in the way we execute, which is why we treat our customers the way we would treat our friends. The company has been created to help people learn a new language in a fun and dynamic way, through events and interaction with international visitors. A platform to educate about different cultures, and how they can coexist. We provide local enthusiasts opportunities to improve their language skills through events organised and tailored to the learning of languages, and we also help young students achieve in their exams.
But that’s not it. We also give international visitors opportunities to immerse in the life of local people during their holidays. “We are M & N” specialises in making holidays a real life experience, helping families and those travelling on their own, spend time in the shoes of local people whilst making true valuable life time memories.
Our travel options are personalised, and tailored to our clients’ needs. We work individually with each one our customers so we can undertand first hand their trip concerns, preferences and expectations all to help us find something suitable. We believe that no two stays are the same, and we make sure that everyone experiences what is right for them. We want you to have an exceptional adventure, whether you’re coming on holiday or moving to St Albans or want to better integrate into the community.

Núria Serrano Ventós
Founder
Nuria graduated in Social Work and moved on to further her studies completing a degree in International Cooperation. Whilst she always carries with her social values, she has dedicated most of her professional life away from what she trained to be and focused her career in the cultural and creative world.
Born entrepeanur, Nuria directs one of the top leading family festivals in Catalonia known as Minipop since 2011. Nuria also works as a documentary filmmaker for the radio program El Celobert and acts as a programmer in many music events. Nuria’s desire to travel the world, is showcast in a Blog she edits, named Nomades, a platform on tourist initiatives for families.
In 2016 she moved to St Albans with her family for a year, but the city enchanted them in a way that 4 years later they still live here and plan to turn their short term move into a lifelong experience.
Maria Batet Solé
Founder
Maria’s professional career begun when she decided to move to St. Albans. Her small beginnings of working in an office as an admin assistant lead her to bigger things and she was soon promoted to run the company database and lead their events department. Life gave Maria children and she adapted her work so that she could fulfil her new era as a mum. Whilst doing this, and still involved in Events management for a total of 10 years, Maria moved in to the world of accounts helping out a friend with a small local business. Hostelling International was her next stop, a non profit organisation to unite young travellers with unique experiences., support local communities and protect the planet.
In the past, Maria has had many requests for translation, helping children with Spanish, meeting up friends to help them improve their conversational skills etc, and a couple of years ago she decided to make a living out of it and started teaching Spanish officially. And the rest is history !
