OUR TRIP LEADER

Alexis Parker – was born and raised in Barcelona, Spain. Has an English mum so totally bilingual with Spanish and Catalan as her second languages. Mother of two lovely children and passionate about animals, especially dogs and horses. Loves to travel and has settled in St Albans since 2011. She feels blessed to have the best of both worlds, the relaxed approach to life from Spain and the multicultural vibe from England.

Alexis runs an after school club business teaching children Spanish since 2015 and  believes in the benefits of learning a language at a young age as it is so beneficial to improve memory, enhances the ability to multi-task and decision making, widens the knowledge in other cultures and boosts creativity.

Last trip ( dot dot dot)

This is what happened in the Summer of 2023 when we took a group of children from St. Albans. Apparently they had the best time of their lives and they found the trip to be extremely beneficial.

Children had the opportunity to get involved in an array of activities, from walks discovering the coastline, kayaking, cultural programme in Tarragona with a local guide and even a trip to Barcelona.

And of course, Alexis delivered tailored Spanish lessons which took place mostly in the classroom but chidlren had the opportunity of taking the learing outdoors to practise what they had been learning. Here is them looking all concentrated.

What a lovely week the girls had , Thanks all the team for making a memorable week. Sara & Salma loved it and are very excited to start lesson is September. I noticed their Spanish has improved so much . Enjoy the rest of summer.

How amazing does this sound ?

The children will have the opportunity to meet Alexis before they embark in this fantastic experience. For now, imagine walking down to the beach, and having this view.  It’s an open door to start discovering the world.
